HR and Employment law conference for the voluntary sector
Booking is now open for the 'Talking about Managing People' conference from PEACe, the London Voluntary Service Council's popular employment law and HR advice service.
This year's event will explore the impact of the Coalition Government on employment issues, the National Apprenticeship Service government scheme and the latest in employment legislation for voluntary and community sector organisations who work with paid and volunteer staff. The conference will feature a host of inspiring speakers including: Belinda Pratten, Head of Policy at NCVO, lawyer Darren Newman and Anna Byers, National Apprenticeship Service Manager at the National Apprenticeship Service.
A range of workshops are available on a number of key topics for the voluntary sector including TUPE, redundancy, the Equality Act, safeguarding and workplace investigations. Delegates are encouraged to share experiences with other managers, trustees and HR officers in the sector at this event and benefit from free, one-to-one advice surgeries.
